What is Hydro Pure Professional Protein and what is it for? HYDRO Pure PROFESSIONAL is a hydrolyzed whey protein (CARBERY® OPTIPEP®). Tsunami Nutrition HYDRO Pure PROFESSIONAL proteins are fast-assimilating proteins (37% faster than isolates) and release amino acids into the bloodstream by promoting elevation of insulin levels, thus allowing restoration of glycogen stores after an intense workout.

Unlike protein concentrates and isolates, hydrolyzed proteins have already been broken down by enzymes into smaller peptides by microfiltration processes (CFM® - CROSS FLOW MICROFILTRATION) that increase their assimilation, digestibility, and the amount of branched essential amino acids (7.13 g) and glutamine (5.57 g) that will reach the muscles, strengthening and purifying the body, while also protecting the cells that make up the immune system.

Itis therefore a highly digestible protein, partly because, like all hydrolyzed proteins, HYDRO Pure PROFESSIONAL protein is a predigested protein. For this reason, digestive enzymes are not normally added in hydrolyzed protein formulas.

Optipep 90DH4 protein has on 100 g about 1% lactose. A very low content but one that could create discomfort for those with severe intolerances to this sugar.
